I'm keeping up!

The more I crochet - the more I am liking all the colors.

I love the way it is coming along.

And the added benefit of using up my scraps of yarn!!

Wonder Crochet Blanket CAL #2 & #3

 

So, as I shared a few weeks ago

I was doing another crochet-along.

Here is installment 2 and 3.

My life has been a little crazy - so I wasn't able to take a picture at the end of installment 2

I am using scraps - so, it looks a little "rough" right now - but, I'm hoping that in a few months, it will look better.

I'm almost done with installment 4 - so, I'm going to hopefully take pictures in the new couple of days.

Gifts for Christmas??? In January???

Found this CAL (Crochet-a-long) that spends all year making gifts, so that when Christmas comes around, you are ready with gifts to give.

The first pattern was a hat.

I'm not so sure I would have picked this pattern from a list of patterns - 

but, I think that it turned nicely.  

The picture of this pattern had ribbon woven in on the bottom. 

I wasn't sure what color to use. 

What do you think? Dark green? White?  

This was a very easy pattern

Kind of looks like a Christmas Tree, doesn't it?

 

Then, I showed it to Lynn (my youngest daughter) and she took it.

Okay, I told her she could have it!

 I looks good on her!

(But, I said "Merry Christmas!!)

I know, I know, you never saw the 2015 baby blanket crochet-a-long finished. 

I still have it on my mind - knowing I need to finish it! 

 But, something more "flashy and bright" caught my eye....

 I have ADD... okay???

Anyway - be happy for me.....

This one is a little different. I will be crocheting rows, instead of blocks.... the up side: No joining.... YAY!!!!

Anyway.... here are my first 6 rows:

 

I don't have a color scheme.

I am using my stash of yarn.

 That is the only way that I was going to justify doing ANOTHER project!

Another Mystery Crochet Along

I just LOVE Crochet Along's.  They get me focused to complete a project.

I have decided for September to join along with Joanita at Creative Crochet Toys for her 

 Mystery Blanket September CAL

 

Week One

I have done the first 2 weeks assignments... and now just waiting for Wednesday for assignment number 3. 

 

Week Two

I have decided to make this one for my niece who is having a baby shower next month.  It WILL be completed on time!!!

I'm very excited to get it done!!!

WIP Wednesday

I thought it would be fun to show you my WIP (work in progress) for this last week.

This is a cute little project that is I just started yesterday.  It is for a special little girl in my life. 

This is a CAL - and it is going to take about 8 weeks. By next Wednesday, I should have a better picture for you, and a link to the CAL.

(I want my family to know.... yes, this was used with "stash" yarn!

This picture is little abstract... it is a Christmas present - and I don't want to show the full item- but, it's finished.... 

(1 down, 979 left to go.....hahaha)

This is my WIP that I have in my "back pocket". When I NEED something to work on, I have it ready to go. It has been a WIP for a long time, but I love just picking it up between the other projects.
