Happy Valentine's Day

 

When I saw this pattern I knew that I had to make these Heart Wands for some very special girls!

They were so much fun to create!

I mailed 2 of them to my nieces, and they have already received them.

They loved them!!

YAY!!! Success!!!

My plan was to make one for each of my grandchildren, but alas, the oldest is just 3 years old, 

and I KNEW it would be used as a weapon!!

 

Valentine Gift

I love to crochet - but want to make things for others!!!  

I have 2 sweet nieces that received American Girl dolls for their birthdays - 

so....

Now, I am on the lookout for cute AG clothes... and when you look - 

there are LOTS!!!

I wanted to mail them valentine cards for Valentines Day - 

And decided to add a Valentine headband for their dolls.

 I hope that they enjoy them!!

for the use of HER AG as a model!!

Valentines Day is coming!!!

Sweethearts Day!!!

Yeah! Right!!

Whatever!!!

Anyway.... this is what I made in honor of Valentines Day:

It was part of February's Crochet Along over at The Curious Pug.
Alysia gave us 3 to choose from.  I thought I would start with this one.... in time for Valentines Day.
I have it on display in my LR.

I am rather proud of it.  I love this challenge every month... it causes me to make some things that I would normally not do. 


Now, I will be working on a few things for ME! and then I want to work on those lovely cupcakes that are the next thing I want to make for the February Challenge!!

Cute Valentines

Aren't these just the cutest little hearts?

I thought they were just ADORABLE.

So, I was "thrifting" the other day.... and came across THE cutest vintage sheet (my daughters give me such a hard time when I use that word..... you know, it IS just another word for OLD!!!)

I can't wait to put some together to give out to some sweet people in my life for Valentines Day!!

Valentine Wreath

 This was the first wreath.... made the flowers while watching TV.  Got several blisters while securing the "blooms".  I was inspired by a blog on the internet.  I cannot find the link now... but, I will keep looking.

 Then I used the cut out from the above heart and made a small heart.
