What's Hap-pinning Wednesday!

Oh How I Love Autumn
I love to decorate for Fall
Autumn Subway Art
"Turkey" Cake

These look like fun!!!
I am getting really excited about buntings/pennants lately.
I don't know if I'll have time to make one before Thanksgiving (with all my other crochet projects in progress!!)

Acorn Pennant
Indian Corn Pennant
Pumpkin Pie Pennant

Aren't these 2 just the cutest???  Do you like the pink one? or the white one? I think my little Indiana would be soooo cute in one of these!!
But, it's hard to think about a sweater in this 90-100 degree weather we are having!
They are so cute!
I love them!!
I'm always looking for something new!!

And, of course to end with some cute doxie pins!

You, too, could follow my doxielover board!!

How To Wrangle Hot Coffee!

The church I attend is branching off and starting a new church. About 20 of us are leaving.  It is a nice diverse group of people.  Differing ages, ethnicity and backgrounds.  It is very exciting.
We have been meeting regularly, and we have coffee and snacks at our Bible Studies.  But.... we do NOT have coffee sleeves for our "HOT" coffee cups.
I know, I know... I could have gone and bought a package of cardboard coffee sleeves... but, what good would that do?  How could I show off my mad crochet skills?  So, I took some time from my other works-in-progress, and whipped this little puppies out:
I am pretty proud of the end product.
I made 6 total!  I used buttons from my button stash - which ALWAYS makes me feel good!

So, Thursday night.... watch out Bridge Community Church!!!  We are going to get "Cozy"!!

Crochet Along 12 & 13

Here are Blocks 12 & 13 from the 2015 Moogly Afghan Crochet Along.
This is block 12 - I have been working on this one off and on for a month.  It was one of those blocks that you had to follow the directions carefully and completely.
I much prefer crocheting when there is a "pattern" that I can memorize - and I can just refer to the pattern occasionally.  So, when I had crochet time - this is not one that I went to first.Hence, it took me a month to complete
Block 13 was more fun.  I finished this in one afternoon.  It was all different - but, some how it was much more enjoyable to create.

I am so excited to be on the home-stretch with this afghan.  24 blocks total.  Block 18 was just released.... so, I feel like I'm catching up a little bit!!

I hope to have 2 more done by next week.  (I'm on a roll!!)

WIP Wednesday

There have some changes in my life - and I have had some extra time to crochet - which has made me VERY happy!!! I made this little Swiss cake roll
which I'm going to give as a gift to someone special who LOVES swiss cake rolls. I think I will make it a little longer and maybe not so "puffy". I'm very excited to make a full box of them!

I have been wanting to make these cute little dum-dum flowers some time now.

I just never had a reason - I found a reason, and then changed my mind. So, I think that I will make a few little "bouquets" to give to some special friends.

And, I am slowly working on this afghan for my nephew's baby this is due in February. I have some time... so, I am not trying to rush.

I've also been working on a birthday present for a family member - but, I can't share it here - (too many eyes!)
