Wiener Wonderland

Wiener Wonderland (to the tune of Winter Wonderland)

Dog tags ring, are you listenin'?
In the lane snow is glistenin'.
It's yellow, not white - I've been there tonight,
marking up my Wiener Wonderland.
Smell that tree? That's my fragrance.
It's a sign for wand'ring vagrants:
"Avoid where I pee, it's my property!
Marked up as my Wiener Wonderland."
In the meadow Dad will build a snowman,
following the classical design.
Then I'll lift my leg and let it go, man,
so all the world will know it's mine-mine-mine!
Straight from me to the fencepost,
flows my natural incense boast:
"Stay off of my turf, this small piece of earth.
I mark it as my Wiener Wonderland."

More Birthday Cards

Well, here is another variation of a birthday card that I saw Kristina make with buttons. I have just a TON of brads and eyelets... so, I thought I would use them. the purple card has a little dragonfly eyelet, and the white card has a butterfly eyelet. I was proud of these cards, too. I have a work birthday lunch to go to.... so thought I needed to create something new.

Happy Birthday!!

We are celebrating Blythe's birthday on Sunday. The card below is for her. She will be turning 26.... WOW!!!
The card on the right is for Amanda. Her birthday was earlier in the month, but I was a bad aunt and didn't get around to her card til now.
I was so proud of this design. I found it on the internet, too.... but it looks nothing like the one I was looking at. I really like having all of my "card making" organized... so, that I can create, and be proud of the things I create!

Happy Birthday Nick!!

This was a card that I made for Nick for his birthday. I saw this on line, and made some variations. I am really proud of it, It is hard to make cards for teenage boys.... Nick's birthday is December 19th, and he is turning 15.

Tag Holder and Tags

This was a huge undertaking for me. Now that I am not working such a demanding job... and I much more time and mental energy to devote to projects like this. I regularly buy Kristina's Virtual Card Club.

This is the first time I have actually completed one of the projects. I made one for myself, and then I proceeded to make 3 more to give away. I am so happy with the completed project, I am thinking about making them with different color families every year. I really am thinking about powder blue and brown for next year!

December Stamp Camp

I loved this one. That little medallion in the middle is made with the border punch. It is going to be so much fun to make. I can't wait!

This one is so precious. A dainty little tree made from one scallop punch, and then layered. The white is torn to make for a landscape, and the snowflakes are stamped in the background. The sentiment is: Be Merry. LOVE IT!!

This is the same card.... Such a cute idea. We "swirled" a circle and then glued little circle on them.... such a cute idea!! Would it make a good baby card? I think so.

This one was done with a stamp pad and a sponge, and a stencil. That was a whole new technique for me! The back is embossed except for an oval for the design. Then, the hooks were just purchased from the drug store.

November Stamp Camp

I am going to start posting pics of the cards that I make at Stamp Camp.
I love all of them. I want to give them away... but, I don't want to forget them!
Here they are:

I think this one was my favorite. I am going to try and do some birthday cards with the same pattern!

This one had embossed red paper for the background. Then, we stamped little ornaments, cut them out, and then embellished them. I thought it turned out GREAT.

Left: cute, cute, cute, little poinsettias. The center of them had HUGE glue dots with little seed beads attached.
Right:This one was very different with a clear panel to show the sentiment on the inside. The center tree on the outside is stamped, and folded. Very cute!
