So, do you think I can do this?
It will be an undertaking... but, I think I can do it....
I have been looking at a picture on pinterest about keeping a journal similar to this... but, I think it would be MUCH better to make a "Blessing Box".
God is sooo good... what better way than to journal it... and get blessed every day for subsequent years???
I am off next week... and think I will give it a try!!!!

Scrapbooking Sketches
Here's a site that sends me some creative juices to use with my scrapbooking.... I need some "umph" in my pages.
suitcases
I think I will keep my eye out for old suitcases!!!!
Here's an idea:
Personally, I use circle metal tags to label mine here in my sewing area. Each quilt, tote bag, clothing or table runner project get's it's own suitcase where I tuck in the pattern and all the thread, etc and "ingredients" for that project. You could do the same for scrapbooking. A suitcase for each year!?? I spray my suitcase interiors first with Lysol and let dry open. Then a day or two later spray the interior again with Archival Mist spray 'just in case'. (no pun intended) Fabrics and paper are similar in that neither one likes dirt or acidic enviorns. Just to be safe.

Thank you
Love this card- so simple.... love the color scheme, too. Thanks Dawn for the inspiration!!
"Tag Card"
Ok, not a fan of the sillouhettes, but.... LOVE the layout and the idea. I really like to make tags. This is a great way to use them!
Butterfly Birthday Wishes
Cute? Huh? This is so simple... but so, cute. I think it would make a great Mother's Day Card. One of the layers for these butterflies is "Clear Card Stock". I have never heard of that! I don't think it is ABSOLUTELY necessary to make this a cute card. The only problem is, I don't think I have enought different shapes of butterfly punches/dies. Oh well.... I will give it a try!
Hey There!
Don't you just LOVE this card? I think that it is actually something that I can do. Very, very different!!

You picked me!!!
I really like this card. Lots to see... dictionary background... I still need to find an old dictionary!! Thinking about using ours... but it doesn't seem old enough!!! We had an old one growing up. I think it was ancient when I was young.... it must really be an antique now!!! Also, the library card pocket on the front is a cute touch. Yes... I am definitely going to have to try my hand at this card!!

The Queen & a DORGI?????
Queen Elizabeth II is well known as an affectionate breeder of Welsh Pembroke Corgi dogs; most of the pups she keeps from litters born to her dogs are female. Her sister Princess Margaret had a male Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund called Pipkin who seemed to love the Corgis in quite a different way from their owner -- a litter of seven Dachsund/Corgi crosses was born to one of the Queen's dogs. However, Elizabeth found them appealing enough to christen the type "Dorgi" and arrange for more to be born. (This is occasionally spelled "Dorgie".)
